Welcome to the refuge de la Croix du Bonhomme
The refuge at the col de la Croix du Bonhomme (the Old Man’s Cross pass) is a Club Alpin Français refuge, situated at an altitude of 2443 metres, on the Mont-Blanc tour route, the Beaufortain tour and the GR5.
The refuge is staffed from mid-June to mid-September. It counts 109 places, two large dormitories and several shared rooms sleeping 4 to 6 persons. During the rest of the year part of the refuge remains open with around thirty places available.
